Rhona is the co-founder of PÄRLA, the sustainable oral care brand that secured investment on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den and was later awarded the Sky Zero Footprint Fund, receiving national television advertising support to accelerate its mission of reducing plastic waste in oral care. PÄRLA has become one of the UK’s leading sustainable oral health brands and is a certified B Corp. (Sky Group)
A trusted voice in healthcare, aesthetics and entrepreneurship, Rhona regularly appears across television, podcasts and national publications, and recently featured as one of the lead clinicians on Channel 4’s The Surgery: Secrets of the Super Rich. She is a sought-after international speaker on cosmetic dentistry, personal branding, innovation and business growth.
In recognition of her contributions to healthcare, entrepreneurship and sustainability, Rhona has been honoured by the Parliamentary Society for her impact and leadership. She is passionate about challenging outdated perceptions of dentistry, advocating for minimally invasive treatment, and inspiring the next generation of clinicians and entrepreneurs.
Whether treating patients, building businesses or speaking on global stages, Dr Rhona Eskander’s mission is to redefine modern dentistry through innovation, education and excellence.
Dr Bianca Covea
Bianca Coveva is a general dentist who has built an engaged and loyal following of over 47,000 people across Instagram and TikTok. It started with a simple frustration: in the surgery, she can only reach whoever walks through the door. Online, she can reach millions.
A self-proclaimed “do-er,” when Bianca noticed oral health was missing from the women’s health conversation, she built her own educational series, It’s Not Women’s Health Without Oral Health, breaking down how women’s mouths respond differently to puberty, cycles, pregnancy and menopause, at a time when NHS dentistry access in the UK is at an all-time low.
Through her newsletter, she writes candidly about the experiences that shaped her, including the grit that now carries her through complex cases and hard conversations with patients.
At Beyond the Chair: Careers, Influence & Social Media, Bianca will share how she turned a single dental surgery into a platform for change, one patient and one follower at a time.
Dr Rosh Javed
Dr Rosh | Award-Winning Cosmetic Dentist, Clinical Director & Entrepreneur
Dr Rosh is an award-winning cosmetic dentist and Clinical Director of LUME Dental, an award-winning boutique dental clinic in Cheshire renowned for creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles.
She specialises in natural smile makeovers, with particular expertise in layered composite bonding and ceramic dentistry. Combining clinical precision with an artistic eye, her philosophy is centred around enhancing rather than changing — creating refined, beautifully balanced smiles that remain authentic to each individual.
Dr Rosh also has extensive experience in complex orthodontics, including fixed braces and clear aligners, enabling her to combine orthodontic, restorative and cosmetic techniques when planning comprehensive smile transformations.
Beyond clinical dentistry, Dr Rosh has built a successful online presence, sharing her passion for dentistry, aesthetics, fashion and modern professional life. Her work and journey have been featured across multiple publications and digital platforms.
Passionate about education and inspiring the next generation, Dr Rosh has delivered multiple talks across the UK to aspiring doctors and healthcare professionals, sharing her experiences of building a career that combines clinical excellence with entrepreneurship, creativity and a strong personal brand.
Her passion for fashion and female empowerment within healthcare also led her to design her own medical scrub line in collaboration with SKRUBZ. The Empower & Elevate Collection introduced a stylish, chic and fashion-led approach to medical-grade uniforms, gaining popularity for challenging traditional clinical wear and empowering women to feel confident, elevated and authentically themselves in the workplace.
Across dentistry, entrepreneurship, education, fashion and social media, Dr Rosh has developed a distinctive personal brand centred around clinical excellence, natural aesthetics, female empowerment and modern style.

Dr Mags Case
Mags qualified as a dentist in 2002, and for more than 17 years has had the privilege of teaching the next generation of clinicians — mentoring PVLE/ VTE dentists and also being a former Foundation Dentist Trainer. A member of the East Sussex LDC, Mags also works as a Dental Clinical Advisor for NHS England South East providing clinical and dental practice advice. She is a Clinical Director of South Cliff Dental Group giving all clinicians guidance and advice.
Mags is also a proud Xennial — that curious generation that remembers life before smartphones, but still gets excited about what technology can do next. We grew up rewinding cassette tapes, survived dial-up internet, embraced social media before our parents found it, and now happily ask ChatGPT awkward questions before we’ve even finished our first coffee.
That blend of experience and curiosity has shaped the way she works. Mags loves combining established clinical practice with new ideas and new technologies — not because they’re new, but because they’re useful.
If you would like to hear her thoughts on social media use in dentistry, what we should hold onto, and what we shouldn’t be afraid to change, then come along to our interactive event and be prepared to get involved.
South Cliff Dental Group has brought together eight of the most influential women in dentistry, each with a career pathway entirely their own. Some have built thriving dental practices. Some have become leaders in private dentistry. Others have dedicated their careers to the NHS, the Department of Health, education, mentorship, foundation training, clinical advisory roles and facial aesthetics.
There is no single route to success.
There never has been.
This event exists to celebrate those differences.
Throughout the day, our speakers will share not only where their careers have taken them, but how they arrived there. They will speak honestly about the decisions that shaped their lives, the challenges they overcame and the role social media has played along the way. For some, a catalyst for opportunity; for others, a source of criticism, pressure and resilience.
The inspiration behind this event, however, runs far deeper than dentistry.
In 2023, South Cliff Dental Group stood at a crossroads. Its CEO, Dr Ashkan Pitchforth, found himself searching for answers, unsure how to rebuild a business that had lost its way. In those darkest moments, he found guidance in his co-owner, Dr Manar Elalami. Fittingly, the name Manar translates from Arabic as guiding light — a light that illuminated a path forward when one could no longer be seen.
No transformation is ever achieved alone.
Alongside him stood Rachel Pithie, Charlotte Foley and Garima Garg. Three remarkable women whose resilience, loyalty and unwavering belief helped rebuild an organisation from its foundations. For two years they carried burdens few ever saw, never seeking recognition, only believing in a future that had yet to exist.
They built a team of fantastic and creative individuals: Chelsea Lugsden, Kattie Whitfield, Dawn Wilson, Charlotte Bayliss, Stacey Williams, Lara Maynard, Lucie Cavalli and Rachel Brookshaw.
Attendance is completely FREE because inspiration should never have a price.
For one day only, eight extraordinary women will share their stories on one stage.
A gathering unlike anything the UK dental profession has seen before.
It has never happened before.
It will never happen again.
We hope you will be there.
